I am in Nashville.
Here, like in most places since the very sad and tragic events with the deeply loved Chapman family, you can feel the sadness. It is hard to focus on anything else. It shows us how precious the life of a child is.
Such sorrow.. you can feel it everywhere you go.. it is on everyone's hearts and lips... instead of wanting to know details.. it seems on the contrary..no one wants to know the details just to pray for the family and all they must be going through.
It is as if we are each carrying a tiny spec of the mountain of grief that they must be feeling.
I know that you all agree with me in prayer that God can and will carry them through this, somehow.
In the absence of not knowing what to do or say.. we pray.
Sometimes (most times) it is the best and only thing you can do.
God is good.
