God is good.
I hope this finds you all well. For the last few mornings I have been getting up early and watching the Beth Moore Believing God Bible study dvd. This study makes me want to live a better life, use the gifts I've been given for a greater purpose. It makes me want to believe that God really can and does do what He says. I think I have spoken that with my lips for so long but I wonder if I have truly believed it in my heart. As it begins to take hold... The Word and the concept that God has promises He means to carry out in our lives but we have to do our part. Like the children of Israel. Fear and Doubt...kept many out of the promise land. If you would like read Joshua 3 and 4..... Such an amazing story of the final moments before they crossed the Jordan into the promise land. What is your promise land? I don't want to miss mine. God is good.

I read this post earlier in the week, and knew that I wanted to go read Josh. 3 and 4, but several things just kept coming up. This morning, as I prepare to leave for San Antonio and Living Proof Life, I read these chapters. I did this after some prayer time asking God to help me hear Him this weekend. I told Him I wanted it..whatever it was He was going to give me..even the hard stuff, I just want Him to change me this weekend. Then I read Josh. 3...verse 5 was my personal manna this morning..."consecrate yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you." His word is alive and active isn't it! I love Him so...
