Hi there, We are so happy to be home from our short road trip/ mini vacation to the morgan family reunion.. it was nestled in the mountains of the pine mountain state park. kids, cousins, aunts uncles, photo albums and lots of good food. I am so glad we were able to attend and connect with all the crazy( crazy, in a good way) morgans from all over. From there, we headed to knoxville to celebrate a very important birthday of one my dearest friends in knoxville tn, visited my old church in knoxville.. park west church of God.. a wonderful church. I am so proud of them and all they keep doing in that community. Then, we were off to Chatanooga for a trip to the aquarium( and of course always found a hotel with a pool for the girls) then onto Atlanta to In Touch ministries ( I love Charles stanley, can I get a witness?) to do the everyday show with Marcus and Lisa on Family net than back home last night...whew.... I need a vacation for the family vacation. Question..... Blessings,

I can't say I've ever had a "best" vacation. All of our vacations have been wonderful, and a new experience. I'm trying to go to all of the National Parks that I can before my kids are out of the house.
On the top of my list, though, would be the recent trip to Paris and London with my daughter, Morgan, and the high school French club. It was a whirlwind tour, but I took a ton of pictures, experienced a lot, and now don't have a fear of traveling abroad. =) Denise 1 report abuse

Well, our best vacation was Hilton Head. We LOVE the ocean and just relaxing on the beach.
We are from Chattanooga hope you enjoyed the Aquarium and downtwon...it really is beautiful. We didn't spend much time down there when we lived there, but now when we go home to visit, we find that we find reasons to get down there!!! Looking forward to hearing more about the Christmas tour! We are from Chattanooga and now live in Atlanta. Hope you enjoyed beautiful downtown Chatt town...we didn't take advantage of it while we lived there! Now we spend lots of time there when we go home!

Best vacation hands down, last year my family got to go to Disneyworld with all the food included in the package. No worries on me for food all week. And a lovely friend gave some spending money to take with us so the kids got some great reminders to bring home. Stayed at one of their resorts it was fabulous.

Glad you got a vacation!
Our best vacations are on the beach. I grew up near water in Washington and the waves are like a heart beat to me. My favorite beach is Coronado Beach outside of San Diego. After our 25th anniversary in St. Augustine this year, that may change.  5 report abuse

I had no idea Park West was your home church -- it is mine, TOO! I just love the church... started there as a brat in high school. Was completely over God.
Now, almost seven years later, I spoke there (about the ministry I direct) a few weeks ago. Isn't God just crazy? 7 report abuse
